This fabulous project was all about updating and refreshing. We were hired by an amazing couple to bring their beautiful  family home a new sense of personality with a livable contemporary refinement, as well as create a layout and traffic flow that works for their busy family.  In this fabulous living room we started by creating a symetrical focal point by adding built-in shelves and cabinets to the right side of the fireplace to match the pre-exsiting buit-ins on the left.  We wrapped the entire room in a stunning Phillip Jeffries blue hemp natural paper and designed custom sofas with English arms and exposed legs in a walnut finish from Hickory Chair.  Refined, yet causal, velvet custom lounge chairs flank the fireplace, also by Hickory Chair.  The ottoman and martini tables were the clients own, while the entire room is grounded by a gorgeous geometric blue and cream custom rug. Schumacher trim tape on the lead edge of the silk panels  frame the bay window. A Restoration Hardware art light hangs above a bespoke piece of art made especially for the wife, another custom oil piece hangs above the mantle.
